After finally building that garden shed I have to admit I'm now into building all sorts of things. Garden furniture, green houses, bird houses, you name it.

The number one important thing is to have a plans that is not only accurate, but easy to follow with clear descriptions. NOT like the descriptions that comes with your gas grill. (Aaaargh...)

We got the exact garden shed we wanted. (Both of us wanted...phew!...lol...)

Building the shed was an accomplishment and was actually fun when you don't have to spend all that time planning and making lists of supplies needed. 

If you decide to make you own shed, whic is a LOT cheaper than buying one of those pre fab sheds,  just ge the best plans for you, we were really happy with Ryans plans, plus he is a real great guy to deal with, really knows his stuff.

 Pre planning correctly really sets the flavor of your project. Take you time and know what you are doing before you do it!!

After the shed, I'm now making a deck overlooking the lake. (Still using Ryans plans for that.)

Building my own stuff is the way to go for me now.  Next is a green house :)
